Please ensure to only pay for the services through FiveSok. This enables us to safely hold your money until the job has been successfully delivered by the expert. Transactions done outside the platform will not eligible to the terms of use.

 

Finding and requesting a service

1. Login/ Register
2. You can identify services by searching, browsing the posts, or requesting for one. If you request for a service, you will receive applications from different experts, and it will be upon you to select the most appropriate
3. After identifying an expert, the next step is to initiate communication through the contact button
4. Once you reach an agreement, ask the expert to send you an invoice, and then complete the payment through FiveSok. Remember that FiveSok safely holds your money until the job has been delivered
5. Ask the expert for regular updates after the service has commenced. This enables you to verify and make adjustments whenever necessary
6. After the service has been completed, FiveSok will require your confirmation before paying the expert. You can do this by identifying the job under ‘My Purchases’ in your account, and then click ‘Confirm Delivery’

Selling a service and applying for requests

1. Login/Register
2. To submit your service, select ‘Service Posts’ from the menu, and then click ‘Post New’. FiveSok will only publish posts that meet the standards
3. To apply for a requested service, simply identify the particular post that matches with your expertise, and then click ‘APPLY’. FiveSok urges all members to consider experts with higher ratings than the ones with lower ratings,
4. You will receive notifications on email and through your FiveSok dashboard in case of any actions that require your actions
5. Remember that only actual buyers that have paid through the platform can submit ratings; therefore please ensure that your clients pay through FiveSok. You can modify the price for individual clients through the message dialogue.
6. After you have completed the service, confirm the delivery by clicking ‘Confirm Delivery’ under ‘My Sales’ in your account. You will receive your payment as soon as the buyer has also confirmed the delivery. Commission charges are only applied on successfully completed services

Remember that positive ratings earn you a higher position on the results pages, making you visible to more people. The more people that are able to see you, the greater your chances of finding clients!
